70's in May!

After we get the new fence up we want our next BIG project to be laying down a larger patio in our backyard, so we can sit back and enjoy a night like this one. Until then we will enjoy lounging on our love seat camping chairs. They were part of our first big camping purchase at Bass Pro Shops right after we got married.

Sunday was a beautiful day, sunny and in the 70's, which is not normal for Texas weather in the middle of May. We took advantage of playing outside that evening. We snacked, threw around paper airplanes, and the boys swang & swang (or we pushed & pushed them) on their swing set.

Funny Faces...

I think that is a cracker in Nick's mouth. Vince was too distracted to give us a funny face because he thought it was more fun to look at dads.

On your Mark...Get set...Go!

Cheapest toy ever...

These days the boys have been constantly requesting Nick to make them paper airplanes, since they only last for about a day or so.

This was a fun shot. You can barely see the paper airplane in between Guy's head and the sun. It looks like a "ghost" bird.

Go Vince Go

They loved it when Nick would throw the plane so they could try and catch it or should I say run after it as quick as possible.

Try and get me if you can....

Vince loves snacking on his popcorn out of their special bowls from cousins, Grace, Eliza and Jackson.

We are very excited that the new Kung Fu Panda movie comes out soon, so the boys love showing off their moves. Nick told them we can go and get Panda Express and then watch the movie. Yay!!!!

Vince makes the cutest sound effects along with his sweet moves.

Guy's Last Day of Pre-School & End of the Year Program

(September 2010)
Before....

First Day of Pre-school....

(May 2011)
After...

Last day of Pre-school!

Uncle Ben this shots for you! This is the Uncle Ben Thumbs Up pose.
So handsome :)

Vince "trying" to wait patiently for Guy's program to start.

He was being a little grumpy, then he finally gave us a smile.

Guy's class waiting to walk up and perform.

Hey daddy..

His class sang two songs. They did a great job and Guy sang his little heart out!

-The first song has something about "We are the Lords army, Yes Sir"
-The second song has something about "Hippopotamus and how God made all of us"

After the program they had a pizza party for all the kids and parents.

Guy was thrilled to have his dad there at school. That's all he could talk about before school. Guy, "Daddy's coming to school today to eat Pizza with me!!!"

Da' Boys!

Do you see what I'm talking about with Vince's face, sooo cute just makes me melt! I know my Vince will be a little trouble maker but then he'll flash one of those faces and there won't be much anyone can do except wanna kiss him.

Guy and his teacher Ms. Arleen.

Guy had a great year at Son Shine School. He really enjoyed his class with his best friends, Keaton and Riley. Out of everything he learned I was most happy that he learned how to write his name and write all the letters of the alphabet. We've been working on reading at home and he's doing a good job!

2010-2011 Pre-school Events
-Crafts out the wazoo!
(includes making Christmas & Mother's Day Gifts)
-Chapel w/ Mr. Andy & Computers w/ Ms. Veronica every Tuesday
-Stretch & Grow every Thursday (He loved it!)
-Hot lunch from Sonic, Chick-fil-A or Pizza once a month
-School Pictures (Fall 2010 & Spring 2011)
-Firetruck Visit
-School Parties every holiday (Halloween/Pumpkin Patch, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas, Easter w/ an Easter Egg hunt, End of the year "Fun Day")

Every day when I picked up Guy I would ask him what he learned and his response, "I don't know." Then I would ask him what was his favorite thing he did that day, "Play outside on the play ground" At least he never moved his Humpty Dumpty down the wall. :)

Thank goodness we have one more year of pre-school because I'm not ready for him to go off to kindergarten just yet. I need a little more time with him before he is gone for 7 hours a day. I got to volunteer six(6) times through out the year to help get a monthly discount, and I really enjoyed being there and seeing in person how his day would go. He is a great kid and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

Night at the Ballpark: NY Yankees vs. Rangers

Nick bought us GREAT seats last minute on StubHub for a Friday's Rangers game. He was watching ticket prices all day and waited until 4:50pm when the prices dropped more then 1/2 off to buy ours so we could get a great deal. FYI: they stop selling on stubhuh two hours before the game or event so he bought them in the last 15 minutes before it shut down. Love the rush!!

I have a fear of sitting too high and I think Guy & Vince will stumble over the edge, so Nick knows we have to sit on the lower level. Thanks Babe for getting us some awesome seats!

Spontaneously we got ready in 30 minutes (showered, changed clothes, packed snacks & drinks and got the diaper bag ready) then headed out the door to pick up Nick at work in Southlake.

We got to the game just as they were throwing the first pitch. This was our first Yankees game so we were very excited, and as we were walking in an employee told us there were fireworks to follow. Yay...Bonus!! I love fireworks at the Ballpark.

Guy was so excited to be there. He has wanted to go back to a baseball game since last August when we went with Aunt Liz & Uncle Clint.

We found out that my Vince loves him some peanuts. He ate half the container at the game and then finished the rest off at home in a couple of days. I just love his faces. Makes my heart melt.

Posing with my Guy, then Nick said he made a silly face so we tried another....

Guy looks great but I was a little distracted since a foul ball was coming our way. Fun times!

Some ladies that worked for the Rangers gave Guy and Vince a balloon hat and dog. Vince loved his doggie and Guy enjoyed letting us wear his hat since it didn't fit him.

The Rangers lost but that's okay because we finished off the night with the Firework show to music. It's the best firework show I've ever been too! Oh yeah the kids loved it too!

The weather was perfect and we can't wait to go back!!!

Chalk & Bubbles

Guy had his end of the year "Fun Day" at pre-school and of course I forgot my camera. They had so much fun rotating through stations, and I got to help with the Hula Hoop station. You can only imagine prego helping with that! Yes....very funny I know! The weather was perfect, so when we got home we had to go back outside and play.

We got out the chalk and bubbles and went to town!

Along with random doodling we traced each others bodies and the boys did a pretty good job of tracing me.

Guy's sweet camera skills!

Guy's Thanksgiving Feast.........Yum Yum!

Guy and I had a great time feasting on Chicken Nuggets and Pumpkin pie today at his pre-school. I was one of the mom volunteers today and I had a great time setting up for the BIG feast. I've never seen so many chicken nuggets.

Ms. Arleen's class got their craft on these past few weeks and Guy did a great job! He is showing off his toilet paper pumpkin he made for the table centerpieces, but he refused to wear his turkey hat...that's okay. He also made a really cute Thanksgiving Place mat from his hand prints.

Guy is not fond of me taking his picture, so to convince him to let me take a few shots I had to let him take control of the camera for a little while. Not that bad.....only cut off a smidge of my head.

Wow Guy that's a little up close and personal....that's cuz we love you Keaton!!!

I'm so glad Guy has friends in his pre-school class. Makes a huge difference!!
Best of friends.....Keaton, Guy & Riley

Who took this picture?!?! It's always fun when you have some surprise shots waiting for you. Nice picture Guy.

Umm....this picture reminds me a little too much of your daddy. He he he :)

I asked Guy what he is Thankful for and he said, "I'm thankful for everything I have." So that sums it up. We had a great time feasting with friends and enjoying our time together.
Happy Thanksgiving 2010!
