70's in May!

After we get the new fence up we want our next BIG project to be laying down a larger patio in our backyard, so we can sit back and enjoy a night like this one. Until then we will enjoy lounging on our love seat camping chairs. They were part of our first big camping purchase at Bass Pro Shops right after we got married.

Sunday was a beautiful day, sunny and in the 70's, which is not normal for Texas weather in the middle of May. We took advantage of playing outside that evening. We snacked, threw around paper airplanes, and the boys swang & swang (or we pushed & pushed them) on their swing set.

Funny Faces...

I think that is a cracker in Nick's mouth. Vince was too distracted to give us a funny face because he thought it was more fun to look at dads.

On your Mark...Get set...Go!

Cheapest toy ever...

These days the boys have been constantly requesting Nick to make them paper airplanes, since they only last for about a day or so.

This was a fun shot. You can barely see the paper airplane in between Guy's head and the sun. It looks like a "ghost" bird.

Go Vince Go

They loved it when Nick would throw the plane so they could try and catch it or should I say run after it as quick as possible.

Try and get me if you can....

Vince loves snacking on his popcorn out of their special bowls from cousins, Grace, Eliza and Jackson.

We are very excited that the new Kung Fu Panda movie comes out soon, so the boys love showing off their moves. Nick told them we can go and get Panda Express and then watch the movie. Yay!!!!

Vince makes the cutest sound effects along with his sweet moves.

Guy's Last Day of Pre-School & End of the Year Program

After...

Last day of Pre-school!

Uncle Ben this shots for you! This is the Uncle Ben Thumbs Up pose.
So handsome :)

Vince "trying" to wait patiently for Guy's program to start.

He was being a little grumpy, then he finally gave us a smile.

Guy's class waiting to walk up and perform.

Hey daddy..

His class sang two songs. They did a great job and Guy sang his little heart out!

-The first song has something about "We are the Lords army, Yes Sir"
-The second song has something about "Hippopotamus and how God made all of us"

After the program they had a pizza party for all the kids and parents.

Guy was thrilled to have his dad there at school. That's all he could talk about before school. Guy, "Daddy's coming to school today to eat Pizza with me!!!"

Da' Boys!

Do you see what I'm talking about with Vince's face, sooo cute just makes me melt! I know my Vince will be a little trouble maker but then he'll flash one of those faces and there won't be much anyone can do except wanna kiss him.

Guy and his teacher Ms. Arleen.

Guy had a great year at Son Shine School. He really enjoyed his class with his best friends, Keaton and Riley. Out of everything he learned I was most happy that he learned how to write his name and write all the letters of the alphabet. We've been working on reading at home and he's doing a good job!

2010-2011 Pre-school Events
-Crafts out the wazoo!
(includes making Christmas & Mother's Day Gifts)
-Chapel w/ Mr. Andy & Computers w/ Ms. Veronica every Tuesday
-Stretch & Grow every Thursday (He loved it!)
-Hot lunch from Sonic, Chick-fil-A or Pizza once a month
-School Pictures (Fall 2010 & Spring 2011)
-Firetruck Visit
-School Parties every holiday (Halloween/Pumpkin Patch, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas, Easter w/ an Easter Egg hunt, End of the year "Fun Day")

Every day when I picked up Guy I would ask him what he learned and his response, "I don't know." Then I would ask him what was his favorite thing he did that day, "Play outside on the play ground" At least he never moved his Humpty Dumpty down the wall. :)

Thank goodness we have one more year of pre-school because I'm not ready for him to go off to kindergarten just yet. I need a little more time with him before he is gone for 7 hours a day. I got to volunteer six(6) times through out the year to help get a monthly discount, and I really enjoyed being there and seeing in person how his day would go. He is a great kid and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
